The Seven Stars lounges always offered small plates and never a buffet, so no change there. very large bar at Caesars, with just six or seven seats or so at Harrah's. The Seven Stars lounge does offer plush seating, as well as bar seating. Back in the day, you could get super premium jumbo shrimp at the Seven Stars Lounge, now they are just ever so slightly larger than the Laurel lounge shrimp, although they are peeled. The entire menu and experience has been dumbed down. The Family Pool is only open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend each year. There will be a few other choices, but they tend towards sandwiches nowadays, with often only one or two entree-type plates being offered. The 4th Floor Family Pool is closed for the offseason.
The menu is not identical, but there is considerable overlap. These days, you'll get the same high quality service (more or less), but more often than not, at least a couple of the small plates offered in the Laurel Lounge are also offered at the Seven Stars lounge on the same day.
